THE MEASUREMENT OF MOVEMENT

One of the best equipped sports biomechanical assessment laboratory in Australia is now open at the Sydney Academy of Sport in Narrabeen on the Northern Beaches of Australia.

The Sports Performance Lab incorporates world-leading diagnostic equipment from ZEBRIS, HP-COSMOS, SIMI, BERTEC and DELSYS for the accurate measurement of movement.

The force pressure treadmill and 3D video technology we use is only as good as the practitioners who can interpret and use this reliable information to effect an improvement of movement. At Narrabeen (our first Sports Performance Lab and showroom for Biomechanix) we our working with some of the country’s best sports scientists, physiotherapists, exercise physiologists and university academics. We are also in constant discussions with forward thinking and successful sports trainers and coaches and their associates as we demonstrate the practical advantages of utilising evidence-based diagnostic data to assist their players and athletes.

The Sports Performance Lab is facility available to elite athletes as well as grass root participants of all ages. All sports. Quite simlpy if you are an athlete or coach the Sports Performance Lab is where you need to be for your training, rehabilitation and sports injury prevention programmes.
